Rasterizes each page and re-encodes it, searching for the highest quality that still lands under your target. Best for image-heavy or scanned PDFs. Pick a preset or type any size, and it'll warn you before quality suffers.
Good PDF
Cleans up and re-encodes the file, then runs on-page text recognition (OCR) so scanned pages become selectable and searchable. Slower than the other tools — it reads every page.
Metadata Editor

Extract All Text
Pulls the text layer out of every page into a plain .txt file. Won't find anything on pages that are pure scanned images — run Good PDF's OCR first for those.
Extract Embedded Images
Pulls JPEG-encoded images out of the PDF — the most common case for scanned documents. Images stored with other encodings won't be found by this tool.
Remove Annotations
Strips comments, sticky notes, highlights, and other annotation markup from every page.
Basic Repair
Reparses and rebuilds the file's internal structure. Fixes mild corruption (bad cross-reference tables, minor structural issues) — won't recover severely damaged files or missing data.
Compare PDFs
Renders both files page by page and highlights pixels that differ — a real visual diff, not just a side-by-side.

Splits one page across multiple printable sheets, with a small overlap so you can trim and tape them together into a poster.

Unpacks a ZIP archive and combines every image inside into one PDF, one page each.
EPUB to PDF
Converts an EPUB ebook's chapters into a paginated PDF. Complex layouts and embedded fonts may not carry over exactly.
HTML to PDF
Converts an HTML file, or HTML you paste directly, into a PDF. Works best for simple layouts — complex CSS or JavaScript-driven content may not render.
RTF to PDF
Converts a plain RTF document into a PDF. Basic formatting (bold, italic, paragraphs) carries over; embedded objects and complex tables do not.
PDF to HTML
Extracts each page's text into a basic HTML file. This is a structural export, not a pixel-perfect layout copy — complex multi-column pages will simplify.
PDF to XML
Exports each page's text and approximate position as structured XML — useful for feeding into another program, not for reading directly.
Change PDF Page Layout
Sets how this PDF suggests it should display in viewers that support it (single page, continuous scroll, or two-page spread). This is a display preference stored in the file, not a visual change to the pages themselves.
Speech to PDF
Dictate using your browser's built-in speech recognition and save the transcript as a PDF. Accuracy and language support depend on your browser — Chrome and Edge generally work best; some browsers don't support this at all.
AI Enhancer
Automatically sharpens and brightens an image using classic image-processing techniques (auto-levels and unsharp masking) — not a neural network. Runs instantly with no download, and gives comparable everyday results for typical photos.
Remove Background
Cuts out the background using a small segmentation model that runs entirely in your browser. Casual-quality results — edges around hair or fine detail will be rougher than a dedicated cloud service, but nothing leaves your device.
